Friday, November 6 at Left Bank begins with the regular Selector Picks in Space One before the focus moves outdoors. The lineup brings together artists whose work is rooted in Tbilisi’s underground. Razhden is a Tbilisi-based producer and co-founder of Domain Records, connecting the night to the city’s independent label culture. Mtvare, one of the driving forces behind Fantastic Planet and TRUST festival, shares the outdoor program in a back-to-back with Toko K, whose work as a producer and live performer sits alongside his involvement with Mtkvarze’s booking team and Fushin Records. Joyc’s attachment to old-school rhythms and melodies carries a sense of continuity, keeping their directness alive within a contemporary frame.
